Any Floridian who, in the opinion of the nominator, has made a difference through work with or on behalf of homeless people through education, service, advocacy, organizing, leadership and/or perseverance during 2007-08 is eligible for nomination.   Please take a moment to consider individuals within your community that have touched people’s lives or affected recognizable change.

There are three categories to make your nominations: General, Homeless/Formerly Homeless, and Local/State Government Leadership.  One person is chosen for each category and recognized the evening of October 6, 2008 during our annual conference in Orlando at the Royal Plaza Hotel. All nominations will be listed in the 2008 conference packet.

Nominations must be submitted using the attached form.  Nominations should be emailed to or faxed to 850-412-0052 or mailed to the Florida Coalition for the Homeless, P.O. Box 3764, Tallahassee, FL 32315.  Nominations must be postmarked no later than Friday, September 5, 2008.
